Based in the heart of Birmingham's tech community, this Technology Business Development Manager will be responsible for engaging, signposting and supporting tech businesses as they look to land and scale within the West Midlands. This will be done with the help of trusted partners (skills, bootcamps, providers, colleges, universities, schools, commercial landlords, recruitment partners) and will feed into the region's tech acceleration program.

This role would suit an individual with a background in B2B business development and senior level stakeholder engagement but most importantly a passion for making a real difference to the region's tech ecosystem.

This Technology Business Development Manager based near Birmingham will have the following key skills:

- Proven track record of managing and developing B2B relationships across the commercial or not for profit sector
- Strategic understanding of the regions tech ecosystem
- Understanding of inward investment and associated economic growth
- Experience operating at a senior stakeholder level
- A real passion for helping the West Midlands tech ecosystem continue its upwards trajectory
- Commercially astute, recognising the business benefits of skills interventions to leverage improved productivity and business growth
- Team leadership capabilities
- A people centric, engaging, friendling personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
