Are you a seasoned Network Engineer with a passion for building robust, secure infrastructure?

We're hiring a Senior Network Engineer to take a lead role in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks. You'll work in a dynamic environment where you'll mentor junior engineers, act as an escalation point for complex incidents, and drive improvements to critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks to meet evolving business demands.

  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance network infrastructure.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point within the team, mentoring more junior engineers.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for topologies, configurations, and incident responses.

  • Troubleshoot and manage firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA (AnyConnect), and Fortigate.

  • Utilise network diagnostic tools (e.g. Wireshark) and monitoring systems using SNMP.

  • Support VPN and IPSEC deployments, certificate management, and secure remote access.

About You:

  • 5+ years in a Network Engineering role, ideally in a customer-facing or MSP environment.

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), and Layer 2 technologies (VXLAN, VLAN, EVPN, VPC, MLAG).

  • Experience across MAC, Windows, and Linux environments.

  • Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP) are advantageous but not essential.

This is a hybrid role with a base in the Midlands and occasional travel as needed. You'll be joining a well-established MSP working with secure government and enterprise clients across the UK.
