Location: Kings Norton

Pay Rate: (phone number removed) (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 5. 00 | Friday 8.30-3.00

Job Role:


The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of all products delivered to internal and external customers. Additionally, the role oversees Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring compliance is maintained on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Implement and manage quality systems and procedures (TS16949, ISO14001) to meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Customer & Supplier Liaison: Address quality concerns and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Lead problem-solving activities using tools like 8D, Fishbone Diagrams, and Brainstorming.
  • Project Support: Support the integration of new models and product changes into production.
  • Metrics & Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Health & Safety: Lead H&S initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and risk assessments.
  • Staff Management: Manage and develop the Quality Department team, ensuring proper training and succession planning.
  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental legislation and maintain a safe, sustainable workplace.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with Tier 1 automotive customers.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, including maintenance and implementation.

  • Proven ability to manage teams, delegate effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
