Our client in the Smethwick area is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Benefits:

  • Weekly pay.
  • Salary - Up to 30,000 per annum.
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:00
  • 5 hours per week
  • 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support management in the creation of new quality control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure production teams adhere to ISO 9001.
  • Ensure the products are signed off at each stage of production e.g. welding and packing by the relevant team member.
  • Train and support staff in adherence to quality control policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients on any product defects and review the production process on the defect to mitigate the same defect moving forward.
  • You will be responsible for up to 1000 parts per day leaving site, ensuring they all pass quality checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in training and developing staff on quality control policies and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
  • Experienced in implementing new Quality Control policies and procedures.
