Technical Administrator

About the Role:
Are you ready to make an impact in the utilities industry? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Administrator to join our Asset Protection Team on a Fixed Term Contract! This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in safeguarding our National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) assets while enjoying a flexible work-from-home arrangement, with occasional meetings at our Warwick office.
What You'll Do:As a Technical Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations, managing vital third-party enquiries and ensuring the safety and integrity of our assets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and Prioritising Inquiries: Assess third-party requests related to works near our assets and respond promptly.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate associated risks to ensure our assets remain protected.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Asset Protection phone line, guiding callers to the appropriate teams.
- Planning Applications: Skilfully evaluate Town and Country planning applications, providing objection or no objection responses as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with the wider Asset Protection team, including operations engineers across various sectors.
