Immigration Solicitor Full-Time Birmingham
Our client, a well-regarded law firm based in Birmingham, is looking for an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join their dedicated immigration team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a diverse caseload while contributing to the firms continued success in the immigration sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial consultations, perform legal research, and advise private clients on various aspects of UK immigration law.
Manage an active caseload, handling a wide range of immigration matters for both corporate and individual clients.
Work on applications under the Points-Based System, business/work-related applications, Sponsor License applications, and other EU legacy cases.
Advise on student and visitor applications, family reunion cases, removal, adoption, and childrens issues.
Handle port cases, detained cases (including bail and damages), and applications under concessions and outside the rules.
Prepare immigration appeals and identify appropriate cases for judicial review, conducting UT JR/High Court litigation where required.
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 3 years PQE with demonstrable experience in providing legal advice, casework, and representation in immigration law.
Strong drafting skills for preparing legal representations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a varied caseload.
A proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent client-facing skills.
Whats On Offer:
Competitive salary between £35,000 and £50,000, depending on experience.
Full-time, permanent position based in the firms Birmingham office.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm working hours.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor (required).
3+ years experience in Immigration Law (preferred).
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom (required).
