  Bodyshop Team Leader Salary/Rate: £19/hour Location: Birmingham  Monday- Friday 7:00- 17:00   We are recruiting for a Bodyshop Team Leader (permanent) at our client's site in Birmingham.

• A typical day may involve:-

  • Monitoring the flow of day to day operations for the panel, preppers and outliners
  • Allocating and prioritising work to meet deadlines
  • Managing workloads for the team ensuring KPI’s are met
  • Scheduling and completing team related paperwork
  • Assisting with managing team performance and provide coaching when required
  • Preparing vehicles ready to be re-sprayed
  • Repairing damaged bodywork, dents or corroded area
  • Stripping and fitting trim and panel interior
  • Masking repairs
  • Refurbing alloys
  • Ensure all team members perform quality control checks on completion of work to ensure no defects

We are interested in hearing from you if:

  • You have the relevant qualification i.e. ATA, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds and/or a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
  • You have proven experience in leading a team
  • You have a solid understanding of vehicle safety procedures
  • You have a solid understanding of vehicle refurbishment/body repair processes
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are able to demonstrate the ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • You are highly motivated and able to inspire and motivate others
