Job Role: Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer
Location: Birmingham (anywhere between Manchester to Gloucester)
Salary: 20.00 - 23.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Metalis are working with a market leading company that provides solutions to the material handling, aggregate and recycling industries and are looking for a Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Ensure all site operational tasks are being completed under the correct Health & Safety paperwork and in a safe manner
- Attend breakdowns on site when they occur
- Document technical reports following services and breakdowns
- Liaise with Service team to resolve any ongoing site operational / technical issues.
- Carry out routine maintenance to prevent downtime
- Liaising with customers to agree parts requirements
Job Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Metso Plant Experience (essential)
- CSCS Safe Pass (Desired)
- Vehicle Maintenance experience
- Previous Field Service Plant Fitter experience
- 5 years experience within a Mechanical Engineering industry
- Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and engines
Salary & Shift:
- 20.00 - 23.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- 42.5 hours per week
- 1.5x overtime rate

- Subsistence payments and hotel & breakfast
