This IFA administrator role is best suited to administrators that preferably have some experience in an IFA so that they can hit the ground running at a new business and where they feel comfortable completing annual reviews and basic suitability reports. In addition to a great salary, the business will provide exam support all the way to Chartered should you wish and it’s a small close feel business so you really can make a difference.
The business
This business is a successful chartered firm that has a handful of advisers and an existing support team including an apprentice, administrator, paraplanner, compliance and management. They recognise to go to the next level they would benefit from someone with good IFA administration experience who would really benefit from being part of a close-knit team that cares about its people, providing things such as free lunches and on site parking.
The role
You will be providing administration support primarily for one financial advisor within the firm, helping them with obtaining necessary information for periodic (annual) reviews. You’ll be speaking with clients, arranging meetings, processing new business, obtaining third party information and actioning ad-hoc requests i.e. withdrawals, fund switches and top ups. In addition to this you will be putting together basic suitability reports (new money / top up / annual review).
