Senior Town Planner or Associate Town Planner

The Role:

  • Leading and coordinating planning applications and strategies.
  • Working closely with clients to deliver high-quality planning and development advice.
  • Managing and delivering multi-disciplinary projects across sectors including transport, energy, water, and housing.
  • Providing strategic planning support for a range of clients, including government bodies, developers, and infrastructure providers.
  • Mentoring and developing junior planners within the team.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (RTPI accredited) and Chartered Membership of the RTPI.
  • Significant experience in planning, either within consultancy, local authority, or private sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning law and procedures.
  • Proven track record of managing complex planning applications and working on strategic planning projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business development.
