Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing specialist firm serving an international client base, is currently seeking a Commercial Solicitor with 5-10 years PQE to join their team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on high-value cross-border matters primarily in main land Europe, across a range of areas, including T&Cs, contracts, compliance, regulatory matters, and pre-litigated disputes. The firm handles transactions valued between 350,000 to 3.5 million, providing a rich and varied caseload.
While the firm has a dedicated litigation team for post-litigation matters, the successful candidate will be expected to manage and resolve matters at an early stage, ensuring clients' issues are addressed proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and advise on commercial contracts, terms and conditions, compliance, and regulatory matters.
* Handle cross-border transactions, focusing on European markets and further international client needs.
* Provide pre-litigation advice, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure comprehensive legal service, across tax, legal, and regulatory matters.
* Work with an international client base, helping businesses navigate high-value transactions (ranging from 350,000 to 3.5 million).
* Contribute to business development efforts and play a key role in the growth of the firm's commercial department.
* Work alongside a team of experts in various practice areas to deliver a full-service legal offering to clients.
Key Requirements:
* 5-10 years PQE in commercial law, with a solid understanding of cross-border matters.
* Proven experience in T&Cs, commercial contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters.
* Pre-litigation experience, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently before they escalate to litigation.
* Strong experience advising international clients, particularly with a focus on the German market.
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work on high-value transactions ranging from 350,000 to 3.5 million.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
* Ability to work in a small firm environment, handling a full range of services where required.
