Our client is seeking an ambitious Corporate Senior Associate who thrives in transactional work and is looking for a role that offers progression within a successful and supportive team. What you'll do:
- Handle and support others on a broad range of matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, exits and portfolio instructions.
- Take ownership of your matters as well as work closely with a partner on more complex and/or high value work.
- Network and build your own connections in the local corporate finance market.
- Manage transactions effectively.
- Inspire junior corporate lawyers by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Actively engage in new business/cross selling services within the company.
What you bring:
- At least 5 years' PQE with experience of a broad range of corporate matters.
- Demonstrable legal technical ability.
- Confidence to offer commercial advice in a well-reasoned and competent manner.
- Effective management of colleague and client relationships.
- Commercial acumen.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Personable and dynamic personality with drive to succeed and develop.
