We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 tiered firm in their Birmingham office. This established practice has offices throughout the UK and deal with a full range of Employment (ER & EL) matters, and thus enjoy a varied caseload with work in a number of industries.We are looking for an organised, friendly, and highly motivated individual to join the high performing team and take on an existing caseload, as well as assist with business development efforts.This is an opportunity for an experienced leader, or a senior associate to take a step up into a leadership role, to work with an support a number of partners across all of the offices, the provide management and supervisory support to junior colleagues, and to assist with training whilst also managing your own caseload consisting of (but not limited to):
  • Advice into the health and social care, financial services, higher education, housing and commercial markets
  • Restructures / redundancy processes
  • Employee relations issues including settlement negotiations
  • Reviewing / drafting policies
  • Contractual advice
