Are you an experienced operations professional looking for a challenging role in the legal sector? We are seeking a dynamic Senior Legal Operations Manager to join our esteemed law firm, with the flexibility to be based in either Birmingham or Manchester.

As our ideal candidate, you will bring a wealth of experience in operations management within professional services, ideally with exposure to the legal industry. Your exceptional leadership skills and ability to work autonomously will be crucial in managing our network of Office Managers across the UK and international offices.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of Office Managers in our Regional Offices, liaising closely with Support Services Directors. You will coordinate with Office Managers in both our International and UK offices to ensure consistent delivery of Operations services across all locations. A key aspect of your role will involve working alongside support teams on the design, development, and implementation of new systems and processes, as well as assisting with the planning and logistics of deploying new systems and technology changes.

Financial oversight will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will manage Operations budgets for Regional and International offices, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control. Additionally, you will work closely with the Marketing department to establish and maintain procedures for booking, planning, and supporting Marketing events in our regional offices.

Compliance and best practices will be at the forefront of your duties. You will oversee adherence to GDPR regulations and best practices across all offices, ensuring our firm maintains the highest standards of data protection and privacy. Your role will also include oversight of operational procedures for Starters, Leavers, trainees, and those on Family leave, which will encompass Health and Safety Induction for all staff.

Where applicable, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Building Management and other tenants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our office spaces.

To excel in this role, you should have significant experience as an Operations Manager within a professional services environment, with experience in a law firm being highly desirable. Strong leadership and people management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who can operate autonomously with minimum supervision, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.

Beyond experience and qualifications, we seek an individual who is a strong team player with drive and enthusiasm. You should be a responsible and reliable professional with a positive and proactive attitude, capable of using your initiative to solve complex problems and drive operational excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our operations across the UK and beyond. Monthly travel to our UK offices will be required, providing variety and the chance to make a real impact across the organisation.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an annual bonus scheme and a GPP Pension Scheme with Aviva. After six months of employment, you'll also benefit from Private Medical Insurance through Vitality Health, offering perks such as discounted gym memberships, free cinema tickets, and comprehensive health assessment
