Salary: £62-75,000 DOE.

The constructionteam at our client's organisation has experienced significant growth, and they are currently seeking an Associate with strong non-contentious construction experience to join their Birmingham (or Nottingham) office. This role will focus primarily on non-contentious construction matters, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for clients across various sectors.

As an Associate in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing effective legal services to clients, with a focus on delivering cost-effective solutions.
  • Offering specialist advice in all aspects of building, construction, and engineering work, promoting initiatives in construction law, and providing clear and detailed explanations and advice to clients.
  • Supporting other areas of the practise as needed and contributing to marketing initiatives such as delivering seminars and writing articles.

To be successful in this role you should:

  • Have a strong background in non-contentious construction work and possess excellent commercial awareness.
  • Be able to provide practical and commercial advice in a straightforward manner, have strong attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Have good research skills, proficiency in IT and case management systems, and a proactive and adaptable mindset are also essential for this position.
