Job Opportunity: Private Client Solicitor (Contentious & Non-Contentious Focus)

Role Overview:

Location: Countryside location near Birmingham Airport, offering a serene, focused work environmentTeam: 45-person firm, with a dedicated PC team of 32 fee earners handling contentious and non-contentious workCaseload: High-complexity cases, including international work and contested estates. The firm handles a steady flow of high-quality work, including contentious probate and complex estate planning.Experience Required: Ideally, candidates should have experience in more complex private client matters. While those with backgrounds in basic wills and probate work may struggle, the firm is eager to consider talented candidates with the right mindset and experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • PQE: Actively recruiting senior solicitors but open to all levels of experience. The firm will create a role for the right person.
  • Business Development: Business development expectations depend on seniority. Senior candidates should have BD experience, though no existing client following is required.
  • Attributes: Strong technical skills and excellent people skills are key. The firm values team players who are proactive and eager to learn.
  • Background: Ideally, candidates with exposure to complex private client work, or those early in their careers who are keen to grow their expertise.
