About the Role:

In this position, you will:

  • Manage a varied caseload, including wills, inheritance tax planning, estate and trust administration, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Provide expert legal advice on complex private client matters, ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Engage in business development activities to support the growth of the department.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in private client law, with a strong background in managing a wide-ranging caseload.
  • Proven expertise in estate planning, trusts, and tax-related matters.
  • Strong communication and client care skills, with a focus on delivering tailored legal solutions.
  • A proactive approach to business development and team management.
  • A solid academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree, though experience is the key factor.
