Job Summary:

An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer Solicitor, CILEX, or CLC (or someone with equivalent expertise) to join their team. This is a fast-paced role managing a residential conveyancing caseload while contributing to the firm's reputation as one of the top 30 conveyancing firms in the UK. The position is based in the Midlands region, with opportunities for career growth in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Residential Conveyancing: Independently manage a variety of cases, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, shared ownership schemes, right to buy, and lease extensions.
  • Client & Third-Party Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, financial advisors, solicitors, and other intermediaries.
  • Technical Expertise: Conduct title checks, raise and respond to enquiries, and ensure cases are managed from initiation to post-completion.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate estate agents and introducers to support business growth.
  • Target Achievement: Meet fee income targets while ensuring exceptional client service and case quality.
  • Compliance: Adhere to CQS and Lexcel standards, demonstrating knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing a high-volume residential conveyancing caseload.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Solicitor, CILEX, CLC) or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • High-level technical ability, particularly in title checks and property law.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems.
  • Commercial awareness, including a track record of meeting business targets.
  • Forward-thinking and dynamic with excellent team-working and communication skills.
