The Role
As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will work closely with children in the school's SEN unit, providing tailored support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will assist with classroom activities, implement learning strategies, and help pupils develop their confidence and independence. Your role will also involve managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation to create a positive learning environment.

The Candidate
This role is ideal for someone with a background in education, psychology, or child development who wants to gain valuable experience in an SEN setting. You should be patient, empathetic, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Previous experience working with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential.
