Conveyancing Assistant Opportunity

Location: Birmingham

The Role:

As a Conveyancing Assistant you will join a national top 100 law firm within its Part Exchange team. You will support Conveyancers in acquiring and reselling part exchange properties for housebuilder clients.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing case files, preparing standard letters and documents
  • Submitting searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT forms
  • Preparing bills/invoices and managing client communication
  • Performing general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and document management

  • The Housebuilding Team specialises exclusively in residential development, making it the UK's largest team with over 230 experts

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a confident, personable and organised individual with:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Conveyancing experience – this is essential for the role
  • A professional telephone manner
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Proficiency in IT and willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude, team spirit and discretion
