Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct research on legal precedents, statutes, and regulations to support ongoing cases.
  • Maintain and organise case files, both physical and electronic, for easy access and reference.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address any inquiries regarding their cases.
  • Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys while managing their calendars efficiently.
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents as required, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications.
  • Support the team in administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and office organisation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
