Full-time, permanent position based in Birmingham city centre, offering up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
Are you a hospitality professional looking to take your first steps into corporate? Would you like to work for a high-end, modern law firm, supporting them in their hospitality needs? Based in Birmingham city centre, the successful applicant will work alongside the Front of House and Events teams; supporting the end-to-end coordination of meetings and events, providing an outstanding service to clients and visitors.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Being the first port-of-call to visitors to the office, assisting with registration and any other requirements they may have
- Maintaining the firm’s spaces, including meeting rooms and communal areas, conducting regular inspections to ensure all areas are to an exceptional standard, and ensuring the quick turn-around of spaces
- Placing stock orders, both for meetings and events and for the day-to-day requirements of the office
- Assessing the short-term staffing requirements, liaising with other teams to ensure sufficient cover is provided
- Supporting the set up and smooth-running of meetings; providing technical support, being the first port-of-call for any queries and handling any last minute changes or issues
- Other hospitality duties as required
Prospective applicants must have exceptional communication and organisational skills, a high degree of professionalism, and thrive working as part of a team. Previous experience within a front of house role is required, ideally within a management or team leader position.
