An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Trainer to take a leading role in training, coaching, and mentoring all staff up to Fee Earner level.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Implement a continuous training program for existing staff, aligned with identified needs and recent legal updates.
  • Provide regular training to all staff on the in-house Case Management System.
  • Assist with induction training and play a key role in the employee onboarding experience, ensuring that effective communication, tools, and training interventions are in place to optimise the performance of new hires.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management, supervisors, and HR to identify training needs.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions with trainees to enhance skills in targeted areas.
  • Develop, design, and update training materials to reinforce and integrate training effectively.
  • Create and design training content for the Learning Management System (LMS) and blended learning programs.
  • Track and maintain attendance records for training sessions.
  • Report to management on additional training needs for individuals or teams.
  • Contribute to marketing by providing commentary on legal updates and drafting articles.
  • Stay informed about significant legal changes and suggest policy adjustments to ensure the firm's continued success.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in IT with strong technical skills.
  • Capable of presenting information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan effectively and manage time.
  • Skilled in motivating and encouraging others.
  • Ability to customise training programs to suit different levels of trainees.
  • Quick to learn new systems and processes.
