Lease Extensions Paralegal

£24,300

Birmingham (B2)

Your experience working as a Paralegal in Real Estate law is highly sought after by our client, who are an excellent law firm. They’re seeking a proactive individual with a strong background in lease extensions and post-completion matters to join their growing team in Birmingham.

In this role, you’ll manage your own caseload of high-volume voluntary lease extensions, assist with statutory lease extensions, and handle both shared ownership and outright property sales. Your ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines will be key, as you’ll manage various transactions simultaneously.

You’ll also deal with all aspects of post-completion work, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and provide clients with regular progress updates. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential, as you’ll be liaising with clients and other parties daily.

They’re looking for someone with an appropriate degree in Law (or equivalent), solid drafting skills, and prior experience in lease extensions. You should be comfortable working independently and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience working with developers or housing associations would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.
