We have an excellent permanent opportunity for an IT Manager to join a fantastic organisation in the heart of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will support the Director of IT and Departments Heads by providing them with all the necessary performance insights to help them effectively, and collectively, deliver IT outcomes.

The role will mainly focus in the areas of Demand Management, Supplier Management, Performance monitoring and IT Asset & Licensing Management.

Please note that this is not an operational role but a management one where excellent customer service skills are a must.

You will liaise with third-party suppliers, mainly MSPs, handling complex licensing discussions. Manging relationships with third party providers, undertaking service review meetings, involving key stakeholders as required. You will define the KPIs to monitor the performance of the IT function and ensures the reporting pack is available. Working closely with Procurement to manage the supplier contracts for the function, ensuring they deliver value and holding suppliers to account for contract delivery. You will be involved in the tendering activity for IT working in partnership with the Procurement Business Partner.

We're looking for candidates with demonstrable experience in the aforementioned areas, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder and supplier relationships at all levels.

A team player with strong collaboration skills, capable of managing own workload and priorities with excellent communication & negotiation skills.
