We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to oversee logistics on a major high-rise residential project in the heart of Birmingham. The Role:As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless coordination of all site logistics, materials, deliveries, and waste management, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Your role will be critical in keeping the project on track and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy for the project.
- Oversee site access, traffic management, and material deliveries.
- Coordinate crane lifts and movement of goods across the site.
- Manage storage areas and ensure materials are distributed efficiently.
- Work closely with the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Enforce strict health and safety protocols in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve any logistical challenges to keep the project on schedule.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large-scale construction projects, ideally high-rise residential.
- Background working with a main contractor.
- Strong understanding of site logistics, traffic management, and material handling.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CPCS, or equivalent).
- Competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + package.
