We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on leader to oversee the Despatch, Goods Inwards, and Packing operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient logistics processes.The Role:As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team to ensure the seamless flow of materials, stock accuracy, and on-time despatch. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee Despatch and Goods Inwards while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:" Ensure all materials are received, checked, and booked onto the system within 4 working hours." Maintain 100% stock accuracy in logistics-controlled areas, including raw materials and finished goods." Oversee the checking and packing of factored parts to meet customer requirements." Manage raw material distribution to production to avoid stock shortages or over-issuing." Ensure finished stock is accurately prepared and despatched in line with customer pick notes." Utilise JM Transport for sub-contract and operational logistics needs." Lead, motivate, and develop the logistics team to achieve peak performance." Maintain and exceed departmental KPIs." Promote 5C principles and continuous improvement initiatives." Support the factory upgrade by optimising the stores layout to meet business needs.What We're Looking For:" Proven experience leading and managing a logistics team." Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach." Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills." Analytical mindset with strong organisational skills." Outstanding communication and leadership abilities." Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite." Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics within a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?"
