Road Freight Coordinator
Location: Central Birmingham
Salary: 28,000 - 32,000pa (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday
Are you an experienced in International Road Freight Operations, looking for a new and exciting role with a growing freight forwarder? Then this role could be excellent for you!
My client is looking for an experienced Road Freight Coordinator to join their team based in Birmingham. The right candidate will have experience dealing with Road Freight operations. Backgrounds in Domestic Transport will also be considered.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day EU Road Freight operations, start-to-finish.
- Handling Groupage, Haulage and documentation.
- Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork.
- Supplier and client liaison, invoicing agreed rates.
- Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service information.
Requirements:
- Road freight operations experience is desirable.
- Road planning process experience.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
