Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Midlands, multiple sites hiring
Type: Full time, Permanent
Day shift/continental shift available depending on site
Salary: up to £56,000/year

The role:
My client is a market leading FMCG manufacturer with multiple sites in the Midlands. They are currently looking for a number of engineers to join their team in Birmingham and Leicester. The successfull candidates will perform preventative/reactive maintenance tasks while adhering to health&safety rules.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and repair manufacturing machinery for optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to catch issues early.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Fix or replace faulty components to reduce downtime.
- Handle DC/AC drives, motors, safety circuits, PLCs, and sensors.
- Work on gearboxes and pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Assist in installing and commissioning new machinery.
Requirements:
- Engineering qualification (Level 3, apprenticeship, HNC, HND or ONC)
- Multi Skilled
- At least 5 years of experience out of an apprenticeship
