An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join this successful, international family-run business. This business pride themselves in having strong values in listening to their customers and providing top quality products within the industry.

The ideal candidate will come from a food, FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing background with experience working in a technical role. Also holding strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and systems.

Role Description

  • Responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of healthcare products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and optimise production machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical role
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards
