Part Time Operations Administrator

We are currently looking for an experienced Part-Time Operations Administrator based at our Birmingham Distribution Centre.

The Position:The role encompasses a wide brief of administration duties. Therefore, you will be involved in a multitude of tasks which will include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of the day-to-day general administration for the site.
  • Cash handling and maintenance of the cash record system for the depot.
  • Manning the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
  • Up-selling to customers who use the Call & Collect Trade Counter.
  • Ensuring that invoices and all other paperwork are dealt with correctly.
  • Booking on and off of stock following company procedures.
  • Ensuring paperwork is up to date with regard to credits, goods requiring disposal etc.

Taking booking in calls from suppliers, ensuring timing constraints are considered

The Person

Organised individual who pays attention to detail

Good IT knowledge, especially in MS Excel and be able to pick up new systems easily

Previous experience of cash handling would be an advantage.

A personable individual, with excellent communication skills across multiple levels of the business
