I am looking for an Operations Manager to join a housing association in the West Midlands. The Operations Manager will be overseeing capital investment, responsive repairs & Voids. This is a 9 month fixed term contract
Operations Manager duties:
- Monitoring the quality of works completed by Teams and ensuring that standards are maintained.
- Managing and organizing a team of managers to deliver works while liaising with subcontractors, tenants, clients, and main contractors.
- Be proactive in implementing health and safety measures.
- Participating in the out-of-hours emergency repair service as a manager on rotation.
What is required for the role:
- Must have experience in repairs and maintenance at the managerial level.
- Possess the ability to make assertive decisions to resolve complex issues related to work and repairs.
- Hold a minimum of an HNC/D or equivalent in Building Studies/Surveying Discipline.
- DBS Check
