My client is seeking an experienced Senior BMS Engineer/Commissioning Engineer to join their team, ideally based in the Worcestershire/West Midlands area.

Role Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in the design and commissioning of HVAC controls and Building Management Systems (BMS), with the ability to work independently. A solid understanding of HVAC plant and associated equipment is essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and commission HVAC control systems and BMS software, with a particular focus on systems like Distech, Tridium, Trend, and SIP.
  • Write and develop software and graphics from mechanical designs.
  • Spend approximately 60% of your time in the office, with the remaining time spent on-site commissioning and testing plant operations and software.
  • Work on various protocols including BACnet, SIP, and Modbus.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of ONC/HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Proven experience in commissioning Building Management Systems.
  • Expertise with Trend Systems and knowledge of Distech and Niagara (N4) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with BACnet, SIP, and Modbus systems is an advantage.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS or JIB registration, ideally holding an ECS BMS technician card.
  • Full UK driving license.
