About the Role
- Location: Landor Street, Birmingham
- Salary: £41,592 + 15% shift allowance: Guaranteed Earnings £47,830
- Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, alternating days and nights, 6-6
- Benefits: 10% Bonus, 5% pension, 25 days Annual Leave + More
What are the requirements?
- Mechanical engineering maintenance experience.
- Experience working on conveyors, motors, and gearboxes etc.
- Understanding of basic fabrication and welding.
- Any NVQ or apprenticeship level training is advantageous.
- Previous experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
What will I be doing as a Maintenance Technician?
- You will provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of the plant, making sure installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
- Working on a Material Recycling Facility.
- Providing guidance and supervision to junior members of staff and contractors.
