Lighting Project & Survey Engineer - Rail Sector
Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: West Midlands or London 

We are looking for a Lighting Project & Survey Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality lighting solutions for the rail sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to contribute to impactful projects.

The Role

  • Work with a dedicated design team to develop lighting solutions tailored to railway projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist in preparing energy and payback calculations.
  • Design lighting schemes, including layout drawings and quotations, using industry-standard tools.
  • Expand your expertise in lighting applications, such as LEDs, luminaires, and photometric data, through hands-on training.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project delivery.

Who We're Looking For

  • Location: Ideally based in the West Midlands with some travel to London or based in London with some travel to the West Midlands to collaborate with the team. 
  • Experience: Some background in lighting, electrical systems, AutoCAD, or surveying is advantageous. Candidates with limited experience but a strong interest in developing these skills are welcome to apply as training will be offered.
