Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our prestigious client based in Witton, Birmingham on a temporary ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing technical plans, designing products, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of engineering projects.

Duties will include (but not limited to):
-Developing technical plans based on high-level plans
-Designing products based on company requirements
-Carrying out surveys on equipment and various mechanical systems
-Presenting design plans to Managers and Stakeholders
-Producing technical documents that the company requires
-Overseeing quality control programmes and possible maintenance within the facility
-Developing and reviewing CAD project drawings
-Reviewing drawings from junior team members for accuracy
-Completing data logs required onsite
-Collaborating with Project Managers and leading on delivery workstreams

The Ideal Candidate:
-Previous experience within a similar role
-Must be able to demonstrate a range of leadership skills
-Able to interpret high level business objectives into day-to-day plans
-Good written and verbal communication skills
-Strong sense of urgency with a positive can-do attitude
-Ability to provide team with support and knowledge


This will initially be a 6-month contract with a potential to extend.
Hours of work will be 08:30am 17:00pm
£35K - £45K depending on experience
