Your new roleAs a Minor Works Electrical & Mechanical Estimator, you will join the team to lead and manage the commercial function on several Hard FM maintenance contracts. You will prepare and submit Target Costs based on first principles for minor Mechanical & Electrical works projects, review and analyse all relevant documentation, and value engineer projects to meet or exceed the client's requirements. You will also liaise with clients to advise on the best solutions/values and identify potential risks with design/materials.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Mechanical & Electrical estimator role, particularly within Hard FM Maintenance contracts.
- Sound knowledge of the market and Mechanical and Electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Experience working to budgetary targets and proficiency in IT applications (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Word).
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of commercial and contractual issues in relation to Facilities Management and NEC 4
