If you have experience working carrying out maintenance plumbing and mechanical maintenance work, in a commercial environment (offices, hospitals etc), and are looking for a site based role in Birmingham, then we want to hear from you.
You'll be working as part of an onsite maintenance team, working Monday - Friday (hours are 6am-3pm and 11am-8pm). This position is working 4 days on (6am-5pm), 4 days off, 4 days on (1pm-12pm) 4 days off.
Working on various aspects of plumbing and mechanical building services plant, including water hygiene and plant inspections; plumbing, filter changes, and other mechanical duties in support of the rest of the team. Duties will also include carrying out various non specialist electrical and building fabric maintenance tasks.
Ideally, you'll hold a formal qualification such as City and Guilds or an NVQ, in either plumbing or mechanical engineering. You'll live within reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham City Centre.
On offer is a permanent position paying up to 36,000 per annum with overtime, and the opportunity to upskill and gain further qualifications in your trade.
