Established Manufacturer, Distributor and Specialist in the field of pump and system design, requires an experienced Stores Person to join their established team. Providing a wide range of pumps for diverse industry sectors, the role of Stores Person will be to complete booking in and out, packing goods and doing local collections and deliveries.
Successful candidate for the position of Stores Person will need to hold a driving licence as completing local collections and deliveries is part of the role. Offered as a Temporary to Permanent contract, the position of Stores Person provides competitive rate of pay, company benefits, established work environment and immediate start available.
Stores Person duties include:
- Carrying out general housekeeping
- Booking goods in/out
- Calculating stock
- Packing goods ready for the assembly and dispatch department
- Conducting local collections/delivers
- Keeping accurate records of inventory and stock
Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Stores Person:
- High attention to detail
- Must hold a UK driving licence
- Able to multitask
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands                                                Â
Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 08.00 – 16.30, Fri 08.00 – 15.30 (39 hours per week)
Rates of Pay: £12.21 per hour
