Working with a leading organisation in search of a Change Manager to join them on a key project until August 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to help deliver the transition for one of the largest projects in the UK. The requirement will be 1 day a week on site and is paying £55,000 base + 40 days paid annual leave + 15% pension contribution.


Main Duties


Change Management

The Change and Benefits Realisation Manager will take personal responsibility for delivering the Business Change and Benefits activities which will include:

- Working with the project managers to understand and influence the direction and impact of their work across all phases of the Programme in order to translate these into operational change management activities that deliver a step change in working practices and established cultural and benefits amongst relevant stakeholders and user-communities within the group.

- Coordinating the benefits and change activities across the programme into the overall change framework and benefits portfolio across the programme supported by the establishment of the programme change methodology and group of change agents across the group.

- Utilising excellent negotiation and communication skills to engage with the user communities to gain their agreement, commitment and cooperation across a broad and complex range of change initiatives. This is likely to involve significant changes to established ways of working and working practices and will therefore often be contentious.

- Implementing process improvement methodologies in support of change initiatives, working with the programme Business Analysts to undertake requirements gathering workshops, solution design workshops, business and change readiness assessments as well as tools such as diagnostic exercises, process mapping and rapid improvement events.

- Developing, maintaining, updating and executing individual business change communications and training plans for each workstream, working closely with the Business Transition Manager, to ensure that they are aligned with each change milestone and incorporated into the main Programme and Workstream plans.

- Working with the Business Transition Manager to oversee the design of the training modules and materials to embed the appropriate knowledge and a common language around the change agenda in order to achieve a culture of continuous improvement at the local level.

Skills and Experience

- Experience of developing effective networks and strong relationships with Professional Services and other partners.
- Demonstrable experience in a benefits management environment
- Experience of the development/implementation of benefits management strategies, techniques, processes and tools.
- Relevant Change Management qualification, ideally the ADKAR methodology as a PROSCI Change Management Practitioner
- Demonstrable experience of cost benefit analysis methods, benefit mapping and benefit profiling tools
- Proven record of pro-active senior stakeholder engagement and working directly with executive teams, Senior Responsible Owners and corporate finance
- Application of structured business improvement techniques to identify business benefits
- Experience in challenging existing practises to support the organisation to continuously deliver benefits
- Strong facilitation skills, including workshops, and face-to-face
