Community Psychiatric Nurse – Birmingham (Ongoing)

Role Details:

• Position: CAMHS (Urgent Care)
• Band: 6
• Location: Birmingham
• Duration: 3-month contract (with potential for ongoing)
• Schedule: Long days
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: £26 per hour

A Day in the Life of a Community RMN: As a community-based mental health nurse, your role will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to patients. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Visiting patients in the community to ensure their needs are met and they feel supported.
• Administering medications at scheduled times to aid their treatment plans.
• Engaging in meaningful conversations with patients, gaining insight into their conditions to better guide their care and track progress.
• Conducting risk assessments to ensure patient and community safety, creating a secure environment for their ongoing treatment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active NMC Registration as a mental health nurse.
• Proven experience working in community settings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• The ability to work independently, but also collaboratively when needed.
• A strong commitment to providing the highest standard of care for your patients.
