Community Psychiatric Nurse – Birmingham – Ongoing

We are currently looking for a Register Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience, up for a new challenge?

Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Long Days
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £26 per hour

Day in the life of an RMN:

As a mental health nurse specialising in community, you will have a vital role in delivering care for patients:

To conduct visits to patients in the community to check in to make sure their needs are met.
Administering any medication needs for patients at a set time every day to treat their needs.
Talking to patients and being able to understand their conditions to be able to help them in the most efficient way and monitor potential improvements or setbacks.
Perform risk assessments where necessary to ensure the patients are not a danger to themselves or others around them and providing a safe environment for the patients during their treatment.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

An active registration through the NMC as a mental health nurse.
Proven to have community experience of some kind.
Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work alone as well as with a team when necessary.
Have the commitment to provide the best quality of care for the patients.
