Community Psychiatric Nurse – Birmingham – Ongoing

We are currently looking for a Register Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience, up for a new challenge?

  • Duration: 3 months (ongoing)

  • Rate of pay:  £26 per hour

Day in the life of an RMN:

As a mental health nurse specialising in community, you will have a vital role in delivering care for patients:

  • To conduct visits to patients in the community to check in to make sure their needs are met.
  • Administering any medication needs for patients at a set time every day to treat their needs.
  • Talking to patients and being able to understand their conditions to be able to help them in the most efficient way and monitor potential improvements or setbacks.
  • Perform risk assessments where necessary to ensure the patients are not a danger to themselves or others around them and providing a safe environment for the patients during their treatment.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • An active registration through the NMC as a mental health nurse.
  • Proven to have community experience of some kind.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work alone as well as with a team when necessary.
  • Have the commitment to provide the best quality of care for the patients.
