Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Partnership Officer, working for a client based in Tyseley, Birmingham. Providing support to candidates to help them get back into work from a variety of backgrounds.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the business for an exceptional Partnership Officer to join their team. Our client, prides themselves in supporting unemployed individuals in to employment.
They work with a network of employers to assist them to recruit high calibre candidates into their available roles through upskilling and training. This means that candidates have the most up to date knowledge and skills to be able to progress into sustainable employment.
Our client is looking for a passionate individual to work within their Partnership Team to liaise with housing associations, community groups and charities to upskill and support their candidates in to work.
Duties
- Liaising with Housing Association, Charities and Community Groups nationally to offer qualifications and current job roles to support service users into work.
- This role will require travelling to different areas and having the confidence to build those new relationships.
- Conduct awareness session, speaking to candidates and promoting opportunities that the Group have.
- Support candidates through the Job Application process.
- You will work closely with the ID Department, Booking Co-Ordinator, the Employment Support Officer and Pre-screen Team.
- Work with the Business Development Team to identify suitable employment opportunities to progress candidates into work.
- This role can be working with vulnerable adults so an empathetic approach will be needed.
- Having a knowledge of the unemployment sector and the barriers that candidates can face so we can offer further support if needed.
- Show an appreciation of safeguarding issues and an ability to contribute towards a protective environment.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills both at a written and spoken level.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work across all levels and engage with people accordingly.
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and high-quality work.
- Good personal organisation, time management and administrative skills.
- Self-motivated and effective team player.
- Be able to use own initiative.
- Be able to drive and have access to a car.
- Position subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Working Monday - Thursday - 9am - 5pm & Friday - 9am - 4.30pm. Salary is 27,500 + Commission. This role is based in Tyseley, Birmingham but national travel is a requirement of the role.
