About the role
We have a brand-new role, a Senior Fundraiser for our healthcare and hospitals charity based in the West Midlands. The role is responsible for achieving fundraising targets for specified areas as set out within the charity’s strategy and KPIs, including securing five and six-figure gifts. The role will also deliver specific targets set out within existing and future charity fundraising campaigns.
In addition, the role will manage the Charity Administrative Support Officer, as well as volunteer fundraisers where applicable. They will utilise the charity’s donor database to identify volunteers wishing to support the individual, fundraising events and campaigns aspects of the charity’s strategy.
About you
Can you be our senior fundraiser? With fundraising experience within a charity setting, you’ll have a track record of securing five and six-figure gifts.
With an ability to work independently and flexibly as part of a team, you will be able to use your own initiative in a complex & fast-moving charity facing setting.
A donor focused individual, you will be able to demonstrate integrity and considered, informed, judgement, sensitive to the needs of our individual donors, volunteers, and community fundraisers.
With excellent written and confident communication skills, as well as good numerical and analysis skills, you will be able to liaise effectively with our donors, including being sensitive to the needs of bereaved families and individuals.
As a creative thinker with excellent organisation and effective decision-making skills, you will develop our fundraising campaigns and deliver specific targets, in order to fulfil the values, purpose and vision of the charity.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is primarily based from our hospital sites in the West Midlands. We encourage hybrid and flexible working, allowing our team to work on average 3 days per week at home.
