Gleeson are delighted to be working with an exciting digital marketing agency in their search for a Social Media Manager to join their team in Birmingham.

Ideally, you will be working in a social media role in an agency and looking for a step up to Social Media Manager level. You will need to have strong copy experience and have a good understanding of both paid and organic social media strategy - if you have animations experience too, that's a plus!

"What will be doing day-to-day?"

  • You will be creating stand out social copy to engage with customers (B2B and B2C).
  • You'll be creating social media strategies (both paid and organic) to align with marketing plans and client objectives.
  • Working across a wide portfolio of clients (both B2B and B2C).
  • Liaising with the in-house creative team to bring your creative social ideas to life.
  • Meeting with clients to understand their business and social media objectives.
  • Analysing results to optimise campaigns and deliver a measurable ROI.

"What experience is your client looking for?"

  • To have proven background in organic and paid Social Media strategy.
  • Experience spanning across Meta (Facebook & Instragram), LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Ideally you will have experience working in an agency environment managing different accounts across both B2B and B2C.
  • You will have a portfolio of work which demonstrate your strategic and copywriting skills.
  • Creative flair to develop insightful briefs for the in-house design team.
  • Confidence liaising directly with clients, presenting ideas and reporting.

This role will be based out of our client's City Centre offices 4 days per week. Our client offers a strong development scheme and this role will give you the opportunity to grow a team around you.

Offering a competitive salary of up to £30-35k, the client offers some excellent benefits. This is a hybrid role - 4 days per week in the client's offices in central Birmingham, 1 day working from home.
