In this role, you will be part of the technical team for exotic foods, ensuring that all produce meets legal, safety, quality, ethical, and sustainability standards. You will have the chance to travel both domestically and internationally, auditing suppliers and visiting farms and packing facilities. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and development opportunities within the technical sector of the fresh produce industry.

This position is ideal for a motivated and meticulous individual with strong communication skills and a passion for the fresh produce sector. You should be ready to take on responsibilities, enhance your skills, and contribute to the company's ongoing success.

The Role:

  • Assessing product quality and seasonality
  • Managing the due diligence system and maintaining supplier records
  • Collaborating with suppliers on ethical, sustainability, and quality requirements

The Person:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Excel
  • Preferably holds a full, clean driving license
  • Willingness to undertake national and international travel
