We are currently working in partnership with a Care Provider based in The Black Country, who are recruiting for a Billing Coordinator on a temporary 3 - 6 month contract.

The position is due to start as soon as possible and will require travel to the office 2/3 days per month (after an initial training period). The hourly rate is £15 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and have exemplary time management skills.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring all sale invoices and credits are raised in the required timeframes
  • Seeking the relevant approval to issue credit to clients
  • Keeping 'Invoice On Hold' to a minimum by reviewing daily
  • Maintaining account reconciliations, ensuring all periods are billed on time every time
  • Investigating and resolving billing queries
  • Highlighting areas for improvements in relation to processes and systems and support testing new processes and systems ensuring risk to revenue is minimal

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Prior experience working within a sales ledger team/billing department
  • Competent IT skills, including intermediate Excel (Lookups, formulas, ledger/account reconciliations)
