Children's Centre ReceptionistHandsworth, Birmingham £13phYour new schoolA Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number of children parent groups is looking for a Receptionist. This is a long term and would be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. The role is to start as soon as possible.Your new job The Centre reception is a very busy and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered too. What you'll need to succeedFor this receptionist job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
