We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our team on a night shift. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our operation, involving unloading, scanning, and loading of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
" Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
" Unload trunk trailers upon arrival and scan freight into the warehouse.
" Allocate freight to the designated storage bays in an accurate and timely manner.
" Load the company's fleet of rigid vehicles ready for dispatch.
" Work both indoors and outdoors as required to complete loading operations.
" Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
" Assist with general warehouse duties when required (no handballing unless an item is dropped or damaged).
Requirements:
" A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
" Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
" Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
" Comfortable working outdoors when required.
" Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
