Locum Pharmacist (Band 6/7) – NHS Hospital in Birmingham
We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Locum Pharmacist to join our team at an NHS hospital in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Contract Details:
- Position: Band 6/7 Locum Pharmacist
- Duration: 3-6 month contract (with potential for extension)
- Working Hours: 5 days a week (flexible to 3-4 days a week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hourly Rate: £23 - £30 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care across surgical and medical wards
- Work in the dispensary to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimise medication management
- Ensure compliance with NHS standards and regulations
- Support clinical pharmacy services
Requirements:
- GPHC registration
- Previous hospital experience preferred (Band 6/7)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
